The river Rhone at Tarascon is close by and the Carmargue and the Cotes d’Azur are less than an hour away by car. The village of St Remy de Provence is, of course, a place of great character and presence where Nostradamus was born and where Van Gough painted his famous Starry Night. Nimes with its airport is no far away and there are fast roads to take you west to Montpelier and east Marseille and all those other famous places on the French Riviera.
