Exclusive Properties near Nice

We offer property, villas and real estate in Nice and the surrounding areas, but for those unfamiliar with the area, here’s some information about what the capital city of the French Riviera has to offer.

Discover the Warmth of Nice

Nice, the capital of the Cote d’Azur has been a very popular tourist destination for many years. You’ll find plenty of very nice beaches, splendid views, and delightful seafront promenades here. Still, Nice, the famous Cote d’Azur tourist destination, has many other tourist attractions for all its visitors all year round.

A Coastal Paradise for Sun Lovers

This area of the French Riviera is perfect for sun-loving Francophiles. Indeed, many tourists choose to come to the wonderful Nice area just to relax and enjoy the spectacular coastline during the sunny summer months or mild winters. Here, they can sunbathe, paddle in the bright blue sea, swim, enjoy water sports (waterskiing, parascend, jet skiing), or just sip a long, cool cocktail near the seafront while reading a book.

The Iconic Promenade des Anglais

Most visitors staying in Nice will feel like they MUST have a stroll on the ‘Promenade des Anglais’, which dates back almost 200 years. Central to Nices’ life, the legendary boulevard is usually called the ‘Promenade’ and stretches for about 6 km (4 miles), with the classic bright blue chairs where one can relax in the sun whilst enjoying the superb sea views.

Historic Gems Worth Exploring

Visiting tourists from all over the world will find plenty of sightseeing opportunities all around Nice. Many of these are historic and date from around the 17th century: the magnificent Lascaris Palais, the Sainte Réparate Cathedral and the Monastère Notre Dame de Cimiez buildings. But of course, for most visitors, the famous coastline is Nice’s main tourist attraction, especially the polished pebbles of Neptune Beach, which are simply unmissable, along with its sun loungers, pedalos and children’s play areas. Amateurs of nature might want to check the Phoenix Parc Floral, the city’s famous botanical gardens.

Hidden Retreats Away from the Coast

Suppose you wish to escape the coast and get in the shade on a hot day. In that case, other tourist attractions worth visiting include the 16th-century Fort du Mont Alban, with impressive military architecture and stunning views, the dominating Nice Acropolis with its multimedia and conference centre and the Old Port, filled with expensive yachts and surrounding grand 18th-century buildings and design. For those interested in art, the Musée des Beaux-Arts is situated along the Avenue des Baumettes. The Musée d’Art Moderne et d’Art Contemporain is on Avenue St. Jean Baptiste, which features modern paintings and pop art.
